Could you let us in on what inspired your move and your thoughts on the overall moving process?
I received a job offer to work that requires me to live in Germany. Therefore I had to move from Austria to Germany. I have many furniture besides my belongings (clothes, shoes, kitchen utensils). I needed to move the wardrobe, bed, sofa, washing machine, shoe shelf, tiers of the car, living room table, desks to work, screens, chairs, etc. Selling these things and buying again would not be a good deal, besides requiring me a lot of time to purchase new ones, transporting the new furniture from the store to my new apartment would also give me extra costs.
Finding the perfect moving company among thousands can be daunting. How did you manage to find the best match?
Therefore, I was looking for a company with a good price to move from Austria to Germany that would be worth the value of my furniture. Otherwise, a more expensive moving service would not pay off. Also, moving from one country to another made me a bit afraid that all my belongings would arrive entirely. Fortunately, the company did very good service, and everything arrived as it was before.

Tell us about moving day! Did everything go according to plan?
On the day of the move, the company arrived and parked in the place supposed to be parked. The company started dismantling the furniture but in bigger pieces as possible, so it also saved us time. Only the necessary parts were dismounted. After that, they also wrapped the furniture, so no dust came into our things. They transported the furniture on the same day from one country to another. On the next day, we had the truck in front of our new apartment. They unpacked and took care of all trash too.
Based on your personal experience, what advice or recommendations would you provide to others who are in the process of planning their own move?
You need to research more than one company to be able to compare fare prices. You should also give as much as possible detail of your move. If a visit is not possible, make a video call because it is important that no surprise extra costs not planned to appear on the day of your move. You should also receive a good and proper contract from the moving company to know everything that is included and agreed upon in the service. Also, take into account the Google rankings if possible, or any other kind of trustable source of evaluation of the moving company.
