What were your reasons for moving? What was the experience like?

Job opportunity in a different country. The service was complicated at the beginning, in particular to find a moving company. Once I contacted Sirelo I started to receive quotations and found a very good, professional and economical proposal.

Once Khawar’s Umzuge contacted me with an offer they were continually in contact with me; the downside was more in the planning. They asked me to fix the date a lot of time in advance, I understand why, but it was difficult for me since my date was not fixed.

What made you choose this mover? Did you do any research?

They were fast on contacting me. If I remember correctly they were the one or third company. They also called me to talk a little bit about the situation and asked me to share with them some pictures of what I needed to move. After that they started a negotiation and it was always very reasonable and by far the most economical option. Also they considered that I didn’t need to move to many things. Other companies were not very flexible with the space I needed to move so definitely this one was the best option.

They arrived slightly later than agreed but they sent me a message in advance so it was understandable and ok. After they arrived they reviewed the items and it was a bit of a problem since they underestimated the size and they were concerned that the wagon to be used wouldn’t be enough. However after packing everything was ok and we could even push for couple of additional boxes that were not considered originally

Based on your experience, what are your top tips you’d like to share to help others for their own moves?

Not much, but plan as much as you can, try to label or put together everything you will move in case is not everything in the house, since on the very date it will be very easy to forget something. I did!
Also make sure the moving company has a very good gist on what you are taking so that they can consider the right size and avoid any surprises for both sides. Lastly, make sure you trust the company or you have some risk reduction measures, otherwise you will lose some sleep thinking on your stuff!
