Why did you decide to move in the first place?

Because of a job switch. The experience is in general good, just a bit confusing in the beginning, since not every information was provided, e.g. contract coverage, how it works, how the payment works, etc.

But the communication was rather easy and not complicated, they also speak English, which is super important for us, also we got their quote back real quick, and the price was quite competitive, so we just went for it.

In the end, the driver was very nice, we could even see where he lives, which somehow made us a bit less worried since this was our first time moving within the EU.

What made you decide on the moving company you hired?

As I was saying, the communication was clear and easy. With their good pricing, we didn’t hesitate to hire these movers.

Also, the volume and insurance coverage fit us (though I believe other companies would probably offer a very similar package, just a price difference). Overall, we were tight on time, couldn’t wait for too many quotes, and they were fast and easy to communicate, so we just didn’t continue getting other quotes.

Talking about the moving day – did everything go as planned?

Well, everything went kind of well, nothing went unplanned, to be honest.

Probably just didn’t expect that the driver’s contact details weren’t given to us, so it was a bit confusing when the driver arrived since there were like 2-3 layers of communications in between, which makes it a bit inefficient.

But it was very nice cause we could choose the date we wanted to move, some other companies claim that they will charge extra if we need a fixed date. Also for delivery time, it was also easy to align.

Do you have any advice for other people willing to move?

Probably just compare some quotes. And try to get the full picture of the moving information, and that will make everything easier.

Getting quotes can sometimes be a bit difficult, as the moving companies ask for pretty detailed information about the ‘items‘, including values and space, etc.

But we were in a rush packing and looking for moving companies, therefore, somehow tight on time for everything, literally everything haha.

The best case would be to prepare everything to be ready before getting quotes (but trust me, this is not easy); so I guess just go with the flow! Things will turn out fine in the end!
